Analysis of Beyond Conflict Workshop (pdf)
In this study, Professor Mayte Barba reports on a survey of workshop participants from nine countries over a six-year period. Among other dramatic results, participants report increases in effectiveness at reducing their defensiveness by almost 50% and of getting their interests met in conflict by 45%.
Does Interest Bargain Really Work? A Test using PERB Data (pdf)
Using information supplied by the State of California, researchers document a 67% reduction in the rate of conflict among ninety-four different organizations studied during a 3 ½ year period. The ten most troubled organizations accomplished an 85% reduction in the rate of conflict.
Analysis of Post Workshop Evaluation (pdf)
Researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, Institute of Industrial Relations report on dramatic improvements in troubled labor-management relationships. Adversarial relationships were reduced by almost 70%. High trust was increased by 52%, and almost 90% of participants reported more effectiveness in resolving conflicts and managing differences.
